Initsiatyva Stock Company Participated in Canada-Ukraine Business Summit19.03.2008 At the invitation of Canadian Ambassador to Ukraine, Ms. Abina M. Dann, Initsiatyva Stock Company, LLC, participated in Canada-Ukraine Business Summit: Exploring New Trade, Technology and Investment Opportunities which took place on March 12-14, in Dnipropetrovsk and Kyiv, Ukraine. That first ever Canada-Ukraine business summit was organized by Canadian Embassy in Ukraine, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Ukrainian Science and Technology Center as well as by selected Canadian and Ukrainian sponsors. What made that forum unique was that not only did it focus its attention on showing Canada's capabilities in such spheres as energy and environment, high technology and aerospace, agriculture and construction, but also presented a huge technological, scientific and research potential Ukraine had in that fields. Participating from Ukraine were representatives of various spheres, among them was National Space Agency of Ukraine, Pivdenne Rocket Design Bureau (Dnipropetrovsk), National Aerospace University (Kharkiv), Agro-Soyuz Corporation (Dnipropetrovsk), Zorya Mashproekt (Mykolayiv), General and Inorganic Chemistry Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (NASU), Kharkiv Physical and Engineering Institute of NASU, Ye. Paton Electric Welding Institute of NASU (Kyiv), International Construction Company (МСК), Ukraine-Canada, Pivdenruda Concern (Dnipropetrovsk), Elevator Ltd., ProAgro (Kyiv), Prydniprovska Construction Academy (Dnipropetrovsk), Center for Construction Technologies (Dnipropetrovsk), Ukrainian Center for Foreign Investment Promotion (Kyiv), representatives of Dnipropetrovsk and Sumy State Administrations, representative of the Ministry of Regional Development and Construction of Ukraine, Ukrainian Ambassador to Canada, Mr. Igor Ostash. |
